Navigator Warehouse  removes paperwork and streamlines operations through its easy-to-use interface. The design of Navigator WMS incorporates SQL Server Desktop Edition (MSDE) and ASP.NET applications to provide a scalable platform on which multi-site deployments can be easily undertaken with the convenience of centralised administration and configuration.

While many accounting/ERP systems include a warehouse management component - few are designed with true mobility in mind. Navigator WMS has been designed from the ground up for mobile use. We have drawn on our extensive experience in developing feature-rich mobile applications to create Navigator WMS - the solution for empowering users for true productivity gains.

Warehouse Management
Navigator WMS assists the warehouse manager by showing a real-time overview of all pending operations in the warehouse including:
  • All orders pending picking;
  • All purchases pending receipting;
  • All items close to their minimum stock holding level;
  • Current activity of all WMS users;
  • “To do” list, including replenishments of pick locations
Navigator WMS allows the warehouse manager to drill down to make changes to pick slips as picking takes place and can manage the priority of outgoing orders and operations.

Mobile Applications
Navigator WMS includes a suite of mobile applications designed for Windows CE 5.0 and Windows Mobile terminals. These applications are built for small screens and are designed with warehouse users in mind. Navigator WMS automatically downloads customised lists of instructions and lookup information. Based on these instructions, users follow on-screen prompts, which direct the operator around the warehouse in the most efficient manner possible.

The WMS matches scanned or spoken information against the instructions provided and gives real-time feedback when an error is detected, preventing mistakes and removing the need for a "checking" process.

3PL Functionality
Navigator WMS assists 3PL operators to provide a high quality service for their customers while running a profitable enterprise. By performing automated recording of inventory transactions, storage customers can be provided with accurate information. Navigator WMS assists 3PL operators to maximise revenue opportunities because transaction records are kept automatically for weekly or monthly billing.

3PL- Customer Integration
Navigator WMS can be deployed at both storage client and 3PL to ensure consistency of data. By allowing a 3PL to be treated as a 'virtual site' of the customer, inventory and transaction records can be exchanged seamlessly.

Accounting System Integration
Navigator WMS includes an integration service with a comprehensive SDK. Custom import routines written in any .NET language simply "plug in" to the service.
